NORTH OF ORDINARY, Book One-NO ORDINARY LOVE B.R.A.G. MEDALLION WINNER Second chances only come around once in a lifetime and Vance is about to get his when he wakes up from a coma and nothing seems to fit. His wife and friends fill in the gaps, explaining what's expected in his fast-paced, rock-n-roll lifestyle, so he dutifully buries himself in his music, his band, and the bright lights of the stage. But as he sweeps his bored gaze over the audience one night, he sees eerily familiar eyes locked on him. Is it possible that a stranger from his past knows more about his future than he does? How long can secrets stay buried under the harsh lights of Hollywood? NO ORDINARY LOVE is about love-friendship, romantic, familial-and how far someone will go to keep that love intact. It is Book One in the NORTH OF ORDINARY saga that journeys from the hard-rocking nightclubs of Hollywood to the isolated wilderness of Alaska. Told from three distinct points of view, it follows four people's quest for love as they intersect, then catastrophically collide when they find that anyone can make a mistake of the heart, but some are so misguided that they can actually be deadly.
Autorenporträt
Born in Hollywood and raised by an Emmy Award winner, Delane spent her youth surrounded by make believe and chaos. After earning her degree, she strapped a battered typewriter to her back and traded in all that stardust in search of some real-life adventures. She got her first publishing contract at the age of 19 and has written short stories featured in anthologies, specialized fiction, and novels ever since. Having been clicking at a keyboard for most of her life, she's published both independently and with major publishing houses. Her writing has been used in national magazines and small journals. She's had her work featured on many websites in a variety of fiction and nonfiction categories, and has earned several award nominations, including a Hugo and Best Romance of the Year. In 2021, she won the prestigious B.R.A.G. Award. While her writing crosses genres between literary fiction and romance, dark humor and even suspense, it proudly showcases a cast of diversity in characters' orientations and abilities-and has one central theme: her unwavering love of Hollywood.
