Dr. Kelly Ablard, Founder and CEO of the nonprofit 501(c)(3) Airmid Institute, is a biologist and certified aromatherapist dedicated to the global education, research, and sustainable management of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs). She is a global presenter and has authored research in the fields of conservation, sustainability, genetics, chemical ecology, and ethnobotany. She currently conducts research in Peru with the Shipibo peoples on the MAP rosewood ('Aniba rosaeodora') and facilitates the Shipibo-led Toucan Green Skills Initiative.
