Dr Coha is a clinical psychologist with over thirty years of experience helping people deal with mental illness, substance addiction, and workplace threats of violence. Despite her wealth of professional and psychological knowledge, she found herself in an emotionally abusive and controlling relationship with her partner. After adopting her two children from an orphanage in Kazakhstan, Loretta was forced to face the truth of her relationship. Her book, No Room to Breathe: A Memoir of Emotional Abuse, Motherhood, and Resilience, is a cautionary tale that is both gut-wrenching and relatable. And it needs to be shared.
