After living several years in Wisconsin and Hawaii, Daphne Pang and her husband, David, now reside in Phoenix, Arizona for over 30 years. She left a banking career, and now helps run her husband's beauty service business. She obtained training from the Institute of Children's Literature to write for pleasure. Her first short story, Fill the Room, was published by EDP Publishing Co., Singapore. She writes stories based on true life events, such as this book, No School for Ben, inspired by her two sons, George and Arthur, during their growing years.
