Robert Slater arbeitet seit fast 20 Jahren als Journalist für das Time Magazine. Er ist Autor zahlreicher Wirtschaftsbücher, darunter des Business-Week-Bestsellers "Soros: The Life, Times, & Trading Secrets of the World's Greatest Investor". Im Laufe seiner mehr als 25jährigen Karriere als Journalist arbeitete er unter anderem für UPI und Newsweek; er war Präsident der Foreign Press Association. Derzeit lebt und arbeitet Robert Slater in Jerusalem, Israel. Aus seiner Feder stammt auch die erfolgreiche Biographie über Jack Welch "Business is simple".
