Joe Russell is a writer, illustrator and entrepreneur living in picturesque Byron Bay, Australia with wife, Kathryn, and daughters, Penny and Ella. In previous lives, Joe was in television and technology, but escaped the corporate world to pursue a simpler and more creative life by the sea. When he isn't writing, drawing or making music, Joe is trying to get his girls excited about those activities. Together they've penned five crayon picture books about Penny's bears and produced some very experimental electronic music.
