Autorenporträt
Roy Frampton became a Licensed Battlefield Guide at the Gettysburg National Military Park in 1968, just two weeks after his high school graduation. He has since conducted over 12,000 tours of the Gettysburg battlefield. He is also an ordained minister and a high school social studies teacher. Roy's other published works include Lincoln and the Human Interest Stories of the Gettysburg National Cemetery, and the two-volume work "One Country, One Flag: The Strife of Brothers is Past: Inscriptions & Location of the Memorials of the Gettysburg Battlefield." For over two decades, Roy has researched the lives of the Gettysburg Medal of Honor recipients, visiting their gravesites and hometowns.
