After dealing with a personal tragedy that changed her life, KC Lewis was left to try to make sense of things. She found that writing became a sort of therapy for her and she began to create a world in which she could make sense of things. By creating characters who faced similar issues she was able to process the changes in her own life. Lewis has always been interested in paranormal and fantasy fiction and has enjoyed creating her own fantasy world. Writing has brought her a sense of fulfillment and happiness and she has plans to continue the Casey Rickman series for several more books.
