Autorenporträt
Melanie Dyck is a German student, currently aquiring her A-levels. Before gaining the ability to read, she managed to write short stories and novels, usually depicting darker topics. Maintaining her edgy style and her preference for tragic conflicts, she created a narrative dealing with one of the harshest topics in society-notably child abuse. That particular topic has sparked her interest, after realizing how many abuse victims there actually are, how significant it is to portray the issue accurately and how crucial it is to show, that one is not determined by their childhood wounds.
