It was against this background that the study was designed to find out the extent to which these NFE programmes have contributed to the participation of the 2010 cohort of Assembly women in local governance in Northern sector of Ghana.

O Dr. Moses Yinkorah Namoog é um Educador de Educação de Adultos profissional com especial interesse em Género e Governação e Estudos Ambientais. Tem PhD, Mphil (Educação de Adultos) e BA (Economia, Geografia e Desenvolvimento de Recursos) da Universidade do Gana, é actualmente Professor e Coordenador do Centro do Centro de Aprendizagem da Universidade do Gana.
