A significant (p0.05) higher BP, BMI and Hypertension was found in Diabetic patients of both sexes. After adjusting for the effects of risk factors including age, BP, cholesterol level, obesity, smoking habits and persons with personal history of heart attack, heart failure or stroke relative risks for heart and brain stroke mortality and morbidity were not significant (p
