The monograph presents a critical review and evaluates the perspectives of modern methods of circulatory and vascular research. On its basis, it highlights the prospect of using the known procedures of arterial pressure measurement, in order to expand the functional possibilities of research, in which interference with the blood circulation is created, essentially representing the author's development of functional haemodynamic testing on the vascular system. The analysis of the processes occurring during the tests enables the assessment of the vascular system condition and is of interest for the development of new haemodynamic testing methods. In this way, the disadvantage resulting from the interference in haemodynamics in the implementation of widely used measurement methods is translated into a new quality - an in-depth research process of the vascular system state is carried out.
