The focus of research in the chemical sciences is the exploration of novel research methodologies for the synthesis of any desired targets, looking at the natural process of self-assembling of molecules, for example DNA through hydrogen bonds, thrust for the utilization of such bonds in the synthesis of target materials with the aid of the knowledge of hydrogen bonds obtained from a large number of three-dimensional structures of organic compounds lead to the development of frontier area supramolecular chemistry. In this book, rational design and preparation of various supramolecular networks and occurrence of polymorphism and hydrate/solvate employing amide compounds with various cocrystal formers are compiled in the book.
