H. M. Tavares has worked as an educator, researcher, writer, and astrologer for over 20 years. Drawing on his interests, he has created Nordameris: An Astrological Novel, which has become his debut work of fiction in the English language.He has spent his free time helping 2SLGBTQI+ Brazilians who are already settled in Canada or who wish to come here. The author fundamentally believes that people should be respected anywhere, regardless of any characteristics that differentiate them.Born in Northeastern Brazil, he has always loved Toronto, where he lives with his partner and his dog.
