The implementation of the numerical analysis for any flow problem required good knowledge of the physical boundary associated with the case to be studied. This knowledge will help to simplifying the numerical analysis in order to solve the problem approximately as a real case. Numerical grid generation has now become a fairly common tool for use in the numerical solution of partial differential equations on arbitrary shaped regions. This is especially true in computational fluid dynamics, from which came much of the impetus for the development of this technique. But the procedures are equally applicable to all physical problems in flow field solution. The role of numerical simulation in engineering is so vital that it has been accepted as an emerging subject which has its own standing based on analytical and experimental knowledge of the engineering disciplines concerned and numerical analysis. The objective of this book is prediction of the physical properties of the flow field along the distance of the convergent-divergent nozzle for one-dimensional flow with and without existing normal shock by using analytical solution and by solving the time dependent Euler governing equation.
