Robert Campanile was the first director and original designer of the North Adams Museum of History and Science of the North Adams Historical Society. He also designed the Vermont Covered Bridge Museum in Bennington, Vermont. Prior to relocating to the northern Berkshires, he spent over nine years at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. He presently directs the Center for Science and Cultural Literacy.
