A black comic meditation on love and romance, "North of Patagonia" is about boxer Clay Justin, a man who is better at taking punishment than dishing it out. The characters fight to maintain loyalties to themselves, loved ones, race, and class as they continue to step into the ring, borne up by hopes and big hearts.
