Each year, NKU instructs about 14,000 students in disciplines ranging from forensic science to English literature. The university is breaking new ground in fields such as Underground Railroad research, and it offers graduate degrees in many areas, including law, business, and operational psychology. Jennifer Gregory is the head of Special Collections and Archives at Northern Kentucky University. Although born in Ohio, she enjoys exploring her family's Appalachian heritage. Her interests include genealogical research, local history, and folklore. She is also fond of traditional handcrafts, such as needlework and quilting.
