This was followed by Japan being officially invited in 2002 by the GOSL, which the LTTE also looked forward to.

Mansoor Mohamed Fazil (PhD Candidate ¿ University of Malaya) is a Lecturer in Political Science at South Eastern University of Sri Lanka. He obtained MPs at Meiji University, Tokyo. His main research interests include international relations and state in society. He has contributed number of research papers in National and International journals.
