Databases can be considered the foundation of today's systems. Each system needs a database for its proper functioning, as well as to guarantee the best performance by choosing the right one. The aim of this work is to make a comparative analysis of the database management systems (DBMS) MySql and MongoDB, showing the characteristics of each, in relation to the basic concepts and their evolution, and demonstrating their particularities through an experimental study.
