Eoin McLaughlin is a children's book writer whose picture books include I Am Not an Octopus and Not An Alphabet Book: The Case of the Missing Cake, both illustrated by Marc Boutavant. The Hug, illustrated by Polly Dunbar, has turned into a series that has sold a quarter of a million copies. When Eoin is not writing for children, he works as a copywriter for Channel 4.
