Deanna Ricketts was born and raised in a small town in Ontario, Canada. She is married and the mother to three amazing daughters, three dogs and two cats. She loves to spend all, of her free time with her family and friends at their cottage, better known as her Happy Place. Her debut novel was inspired by a near death incident that made her realize with the help of her daughter, Arius, that she needed to fulfill her lifetime dream of writing a novel. With the encouragement of her family, she achieved her greatest challenge.
