Tuberculosis is a major public health problem in the world, being one of the leading causes of hospital admissions and a leading cause of death in adults now more in children, especially among the economically productive age group. TB survivors can be supported and adequately engaged to improve TB program and services. TB survivors need to be Empowered in their various communities through:a. Advocacy, communication and social mobilizationb. Community participation in TB care to involve TB survivors. Tuberculosis Treatment as gone beyond just paying attention to only clinical treatment. TB disease as being faced with major gaps as regards late in diagnosis, adherence to treatment. A lot still needs to be done in supporting patients as regard completing there treatments and completely Ending TB in our communities.
