Eileen Herbert Hugo is a poet and author who splits her time between Spruce Head, Maine, and Stoneham, Massachusetts. Her work has been featured in The Nature Place Journal, and she has earned honors at the Austin International Poetry Festival. A former Poetry Editor at The Houston Literary Review, she has won awards for her poems, including The Competition and Grandfather's Passing. Her poetry book, NOT TOO FAR A JOURNEY OF WORDS, was published in 2015.Eileen focuses on poetry and fiction in her retirement when she's not enjoying the constant support of a wonderful husband, her children, and their partners.
