Lynn Dugan, MS, RDN, translates the science of nutrition to a practical application in the kitchen. She is the founder of MyPlate2Yours, LLC, and helps others make healthy eating a reality by conducting cooking classes, both privately and corporately. She is an Adjunct Faculty Member in Nutrition at Benedictine University and authors a blog on her website, www.myplate2yours.com. Her nutrition tips and culinary skills have been featured on WGN-Chicago, NBC5-Chicago and ABC7-Chicago. Lynn is a registered and licensed dietitian/nutritionist, holds a Master's degree in exercise physiology, and is the mother of four children, 2 of which are just starting out in new kitchens of their own. Lynn is currently an active volunteer in her community. She serves on the Glenbard High School District 87 Wellness Committee and teaches nutrition in a local elementary school's after school program. She previously worked for a cardiologist conducting clinical research in foods and pharmaceuticals and has published some of this work in the Journal of the American Medical Association. Lynn has also authored numerous professional publications. This is her first book for consumers.
