They are a synthesis of actual experiences filtered through her mind's eye that sees whatever, wherever and whenever it wishes. Ilene Winn-Lederer is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she writes & illustrates books published under her imprint, Imaginarius Editions. She is also author & illustrator of Between Heaven & Earth: An Illuminated Torah Commentary (Pomegranate, 2009). A member of the Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators, her clients have included The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Hadassah, NY, Lilith Magazine, Children¿s Television Workshop, Scholastic, Charlesbridge Publishers, Simon & Schuster & Cricket Magazine. In 2014, Ilene wrote, illustrated & published An Illumination Of Blessings presenting 36 universal blessings in Hebrew & English. Notes From London: Above & Below, a collection of annotated illustrations based on personal travel journals followed in 2015. Bestiary: An Imaginary Menagerie was published in 2016. Codex Gastropoda: A Visual Meditation is her current book for 2017. Her unique drawings & paintings are included in public and private collections throughout the United States & Europe.
