This book compiles the case studies, success stories, best practices, and entrepreneurships generated by the research institutes and Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (Kashmir) situated in Ladakh. This compilation includes the technologies translated into success among farming communities on various aspects of agriculture and allied sectors after introduction or development or assessment or refinement. Successful technologies in animal science, field crops, vegetable crops, fodder crops, mechanization, and vermicomposting are summarized. Idea is to showcase the technologies so that these may reach the masses as well as policymakers and may be upscaled and adopted by the stakeholders of other parts of the region and other regions with similar climatic conditions.
