Eight novel spectrophotometric and two RP-HPLC methods were developed for quantitative analysis of pharmaceuticals in bulk and dosage forms. Two spectrophotometric methods for citalopram and zolmitriptan each, four spectrophotometric methods for caroverine, one RP-HPLC method for caroverine and one RP-HPLC method for mecobalamin were developed and validated. Newly proposed analytical methods for citalopram and zolmitriptan are new, reliable, sensitive and low cost as compared to already reported methods in the literature. However, in this research work we have developed the some novel analytical method for caroverine in pharmaceuticals raw and dosage forms. None of the analytical method is reported for caroverine in the literature for its quantitative determination. However, we have very first time reported the stability indicating analytical RP-HPLC method for caroverine and mecobalamin.
