The design of compact multiband antennas with broad bandwidth is very difficult. The challenging issues in the design of these antennas are achieving broad bandwidth along with adequate gain.Advancements in the various new-fashioned technologies like 3G (1.92-1.98 GHz and 2.11 - 2.17 GHz), 4G (2.3-2.4 GHz), Wi-Fi (2.4-2.485 GHz and 5.15-5.85 GHz) WLAN (2.4-2.48 GHz, 5.15-5.35 GHz and 5.725-5.825 GHz) and WiMAX (2.5-2.69 GHz, 3.4-3.69 GHz, 5.25-5.85 GHz) have been activated further research in the design and investigation of multiband antennas. The antennas working at the 3G, Wi-Fi, WLAN, and WiMAX are really important in numerous commercial applications.
