This book details a novel methodology for automatic generation, categorization, simulation, attainment of real time ECG data, ECG signal filtering and processing, feature extraction, an equivalence between different ECG signal analysis algorithms and techniques, detection of whatsoever abnormalities in ECG, computing beat rate using MATLAB. A methodology for automatic categorization and classification of cardiac arrhythmias as well as normal sinus rhythms is proposed based on simulation on Matlab. Book discusses biomedical engineering and then a detailed description of different types of ECG signals. Simulation of dynamical systems is one of the challenging computational tasks because of its numerical complexity and simulation time. The simulation has been done in MATLAB for various sets of inputs such as normal (sinus), bradycardia, tachycardia, stress condition of ECG signals. The implication of this research may be helpful for scientific researchers in the area of ECG signal processing. So, a cardiac patient can be identified by detecting his ECG energy levels and comparing them with that of a normal person's ECG. This method can be used to identify other heart disorders as well
