Once the power is transmitted into the sub-system, the subsequent challenge is distributing the electric power uniformly among all the consumers through DISCOMs. Unfortunately, the faulty distribution system may lead to some areas being overloaded/underloaded. To avoid these extreme unwanted conditions and assure uninterrupted power flow, scientific controlling of the load end is highly recommended and the need of the hour too. It leads to the systematic adoption of the load balancing technique. Load balancing is the process to prevent the system from undesired overloading or underloading condition under any adverse circumstances. In this project, the author has attempted to explain every minute details of load balancing and discuss the inevitable strategy to minimise its influence on the health of the utility grid. Apart from this, a novel prototype has been introduced and explained, which shall prove effective in combating the fictitious fight, limiting the undesired wastage ofelectric energy.
