That of writing mystery novels.Barbara grew up in a small town in upstate New York. As one of eight children living in a house with little guidance on how to handle life's difficult moments, she and her siblings learned on their own how to navigate the world around them. Not an easy task, but every one of them managed to make very good life choices for themselves, in spite of, or possibly because of, the struggles they had to endure.Barbara and her husband of 53 years have one daughter, the beacon of light in their lives, and a son-in-law whom they admire greatly as well.
