Autorenporträt
Dorothy Van Soest's academic credentials include a B.A. in English Literature, a Master's Degree in Social Work and a PhD. Van Soest's career as an educator has spanned the teaching of high school English, elementary and preschool, undergraduate and graduate university courses as a professor, as well as Dean positions at two universities. She is currently Professor and Dean Emeritus at the University of Washington. Van Soest has been a professional writer for over thirty years, with ten books published, plus over fifty journal articles, essays and book chapters. Her novel, Just Mercy, was published by Apprentice House in August 2014.
