In the present book, a detailed study of fission dynamics of excited nuclei formed in heavy-ion collisions is presented with a view to extract knowledge about the dissipative properties of hot fissioning nuclei. An attempt has been made to study the dynamics of heavy ion induced fusion-fission reactions and to determine the dissipation strength using pre-scission neutrons, fission cross sections and evaporation residue (ER) cross sections as the probes. Dr. Rohit Sandal did his master's in physics from Panjab University, Chandigarh Punjab in 2004 later he completed his doctoral degree in experimental nuclear physics from same department in 2013. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor at NSCBM Government College Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh.
