The exhaustive work done by the present author and his colleagues on Quark Gluon Plasma at CERN, RHIC and the theoretical work done at Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics and the Cyclotron Centre, Kolkata, India is the kernel of this book. Cosmology is an obvious and exciting spin off. The changing scenario of interest of the author, it is felt is a fairly good cursor of the changing pattern of the very profile of physical science.
Autorenporträt
Bikash Sinha obtained his PhD. from London University in 1970 and D.Sc. in 1981. He has published about 200 papers; his pioneering land mark work has been on Quark Gluon Plasma, especially on the thermometric signals of QGP. His work is internationally recognised by many awards and honors. He is a member of several international working bodies.
