The manuscript presents analytical and numerical results for a two dimensional DDFV (Discrete Duality Finite Volume) scheme for linear diffusion problem in general meshes with periodic boundary conditions. Taking into account the periodicity is the main new ingredient with respect to our recent works and to the founding works of F. Hermeline, K. Domolevo, P . Omnes ... A result of existence and uniqueness of a solution for that problem is given thanks to the properties of its associated matrix combined with adequate assumptions on data. Numerical test is provided.
