There must be adequate staff in order to provide the very basic needs, such as turning, bathing and maintaining comfort.Albeit , we have come a long way, but we do have a very long way to go.Hopefully in my lifetime there we be substantial changes in dealing with obesity in the healthcare setting.

Mi carrera se ha extendido por más de 40 años en la comunidad de atención médica y actualmente tengo una maestría en educación en enfermería. La enseñanza ha sido una pasión para mí y mi sueño de formar nuevas enfermeras se ha convertido en una realidad. Tratar con pacientes problemáticos ha sido un desafío, de ahí mi tesis sobre la obesidad. Continuaré en mi viaje actual avanzando donde pueda.
