Charmain Zimmerman Brackett fell in love with the written word at a young age, devouring as many books as she could find. She pursued a degree in English literature, graduating from Augusta College in 1988. A veteran journalist, she has written for several publications in Georgia and South Carolina. She lives in Georgia with her husband, Bret. They have three adult children.
