Mothbean, also known as moth, dewbean and kidney bean is an indispensable component of dry land farming system in arid and semi-arid regions because it is the most drought tolerant crop among kharif pulses largely grown on dry land areas with least agronomic practices but the average yield is very low mainly due to even or no use of fertilizers and cultivation on poor fertility lands. Dr Manmohan Puniya obtained his Ph.D. Agronomy (2015) from S.K.N. Collage of Agriculture Jobner under SKNAU, Jobner, Jaipur. Dr. Puniya served as Assistant Professor at ARS Talod, Sabarkantha, under SDAU, Gujarat from 2016 to 2018. Dr Puniya was selected in AU Jodhpur as Subject Matter Specialist in April, 2018 and posted at KVK, Phalodi.
