Autorenporträt
Peggy Stanfield, MS, RD, LD, CNS is a Registered Dietician and Professor Emeritus from College of Southern Idaho, Twin Falls. She is a Certified Nutrition Specialist, a professional member of the Institute of Food Technology (ITF), and has recently completed a second term as president of Text and Academic Authors (TAA), an organization devoted to advancing quality education materials for students and advocating for author's rights. Following her retirement from CSI she taught at the University of Hawaii, Manoa, Honolulu. While at CSI she helped develop and implement the nutrition component of the nursing curriculum, taught nutrition theory, and supervised nursing students during their clinical experience in teaching diet therapy to selected patients. She transferred from the Nursing Department into the Allied Health division, and while continuing to teach nursing students, also taught students with majors in other health divisions. Peggy Stanfield is also the author of Introduction to the Health Professions, Essential Medical Terminology and Mastering the New Medical Terminology Through Self-Instructional Modules, all published by Jones and Bartlett Publishers.
