So-called nutrient profiling is "the science of classifying or ranking foods according to their nutritional composition for reasons related to preventing disease and promoting health". Exist many nutrient profiling (NP) models. This study aimed to examine some of NP models. With the assistance of such models, for example products high in sugar or saturated fat can be classified as "unhealthy". Products low in sugar or saturated fat but high levels of fibers, for example, can be classified as "healthy".
