In India Pre-schoolers are precious in the life cycle because they are the future citizens of the world. Their nutritional status should be focus. Among pre-schoolers malnutrition more common due to their food habits.In the present study was aimed to this and revealed that 3 and 4 years of boys were stunted when compared with NCHS standards. None of the boys had normal weight for age. The girls of 1 and 2 years were well nourished than their counterparts. The mean % height for age was less than 100 percent in the age group of 3 & 4 years for boys and 3, 4and 5 years or girls. The mean % weight for age is lower in most of the sample except 1year girls. The mean % weight for height for the entire samples indicated poor nutritional status. The 3 and 4 year of boys and 3 & 5 years of girls were 100% stunted. The 3, 4 and 5 years old boys and 3 and 5 years old girls were found to be 100 % underweight. The Rao's index revealed that most of the sample's suffered from PEM. As per IAP classification, boys who were 3 year of age had grade-I malnutrition. As per IAP classification, girls in age group of 4 and 5 years had grade-I malnutrition.
