Objective: To describe and analyze the performance of the professional Nutritionist in Primary Health Care, according to the ordinance GM No. 154 of 24 January 2008, from experiences lived by nutritionists acting in the municipalities of NASF region 23 of RS. Methods: This is a qualitative study. Information was collected through semi-structured interviews with all nutritionists of Region 23 of RS, which included a total of 3 people. Results: We highlight that all professionals develop activities such as home visits, team meetings, groups, multiprofessional interventions, parental support, intersectoral interventions, extended clinic, individual and/or joint visits. Conclusion: Only N1 and N3 professionals act in accordance with Administrative Regulation no. 154 of 24 January 2008.
