Getting back to basics is always the right thing to do, especially when it comes to faith. God gave us the articles of faith through Moses and specifically said, not to add to or diminish from them. Not surprisingly, the religion of Judaism added to them while the religion of Christianity diminished from them, meaning nobody is living by what God said. Nobody, that is, except Yeshua ben Yosef, who lived the faith perfectly and taught us to do the same. Yeshua had to speak in parables so people didn't understand it. Autorenporträt
I was raised Lutheran but shook it all off when I turned 18 and went into the military. No more church for me! I was a free spirit and, in Germany, found my wife who was also non-religious. We married and eventually ended up with the military in Alaska, where we said good-bye to military life and moved into the bush with our three kids into a cabin with no running water or electricity. The best time of our life together! Out there in nature we eventually wanted to know if God really existed. We pulled out Bibles that had been given to us earlier and began reading. We both were pulled to Matthew and, through the words of Jesus, who we now call Yeshua, we went from unbelief to belief. Our lives were renewed. We joined civilization again but did not join a church except for a very short period, until I saw what I hated in my childhood. We lived our faith according to what we understood. Seven years after having met God, we felt called to go to Romania to help in orphanages and especially in the elderly of the Jewish community in Falticeni. Six years later we made aliyah to Israel. After we got our Israeli citizenships, we renounced our US and German ones. Living the One Faith without religion has been our walk. As simplistic as it may seem, we want to save the world by calling people to the One Faith and helping them understand how to increase holiness (righteousness) in their lives. Religion is inert. Faith is alive.
