The OB I. Bajnokság (OB I. Championship / "Hungarian 1st League") is the highest level of hockey in Hungary and determines the National Champion. It consists of 6 teams for the 2010-2011 season. 5 of the teams play in the MOL Liga and 1 (Alba Volán Székesfehérvár) in the. After the formation of the MOL Liga, the OB I. Championship returned to having only Hungarian teams.
