Oberburg is a municipality in the district of Burgdorf in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. Oberburg has an area of 14.1 square kilometers (5.4 sq mi). Of this area, 57.6% is used for agricultural purposes, while 33.8% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 8.1% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (0.5%) is non-productive (rivers or glaciers). The village stretchs along the left bank of the Emme River (except for Schachen- and Uferanteil) in the Luterbachgraben (Luter creek valley) in includes the villages of Oberburg, Weiler, several individual farms and the exclaves Rohrmoos und Tannen.
