Oberhünigen is a municipality in the district of Konolfingen in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. Oberhünigen has an area of 6 square kilometers (2.3 sq mi). Of this area, 37.3% is used for agricultural purposes, while 58.1% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 4.2% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (0.5%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains). The municipality includes the village of Oberhünigen, the hamlet of Äbersold and individual farm houses on the Kurzenberg. Until 1980 it was an exclave of Schlosswil. More than half of the municipality is covered by the Toppwald (Topp Forest).
