Carole Sharman is co-author of Observing Children and Young People, 4th edition (2007) and Summative Assessment in the Early Years (2015) both published by Bloomsbury. She was a Registered Nurse and Health Visitor before retraining as a primary school teacher. Later she worked in FE, eventually becoming Head of School for Early years and Special Educational Needs.
