She has just moved to the middle of nowhere in Virginia. Her father died three years ago, but for Katy and her mother the pain of the lost still feels recent. Her mother hopes the move will give them a new start and help them move on. Despite how boring she thought the town would be, she's about to learn nothing could be farther from the truth.
Daemon and Dee are Katy's neighbours. Dee and her become fast friends, but Daemon just annoys her to no end or at least she wished that was the only feelings she felt near him. Daemon's feelings and reactions are very unpredictable, making him hard to read and a realistic character.
I was already a loyal fan after reading Daimon and Half-Blood. There are a lot of paranormal reads, but the Covenant series stood out for me, just like Obsidian does as well. It's YA meets Roswell, but much more interesting then the TV series ever was.
Obsidian is another captivating page-turner by Jennifer that will no doubt be throwing many curve balls in the future. I can't wait to find out how the series continues.
