The route travelled from the Carlingwood Mall and ended at the Ottawa International Airport, following the current route 97 that travels from Bayshore Shopping Centre to the Airport and before the Southeast Transitway was completed via most of Route 87's current routing between Billings Bridge and Hunt Road while travelling through CFB Uplands (current route 147).
